I decided right away that this should be a lighted model. I used a 20-light string of LEDs (Fairy Lights) and it was pretty easy. I cut all the parts so that each chamber connected to the next. I started with the light on the end and pulled it up through the bottom and glued it into the top of the tallest chimney. Then, I pulled the next light to the next chimney, and so on. That left a nice wad of lights for the main furnace. I had to make room for the battery pack in between the lights in the main chamber. I had wanted to do some kind of smoke effect for this but decided to settle for lights. Maybe on the next one!
The Pox Furnace wound up being a bigger job than I intended. I saw where Unixcubeminiatures had done a water effect by raising it up off the table. I thought that would be a great idea AND I could light the pool!
